- Description: Plugin to connect to miRBase: the microRNA database. This database is the primary repository for all microRNA sequences and annotation. Each entry represents a predicted hairpin portion of a miRNA transcript, with information on the location and sequence of the mature miRNA sequence. Annotations include validated and predicted targets. Searches are done through microRNA name. The plugin is useful when studying a particular microRNA structure and function.
