We wanted to determine how type I ROP16 affect host gene expression We infected BMDM's from BALB/c with type I (RH) and type I (RH) ΔROP16 BMDM's were plated, then infected with parasites for 18 hours. Then the RNA was harvested from the cells by Trizol.
