I started using BioGPS when I worked for the Cell Migration consortium at the University of Virginia. I spent most time on BioGPS making sure that the Cell Migration Knowledgebase plugin still worked. BioGPS lets me arrange the info I need in a single window. Currently I am working as Bioscience Analyst in the Cyberinfrastructure Division at the Virginia Bioinformatics Institute. There are now also plugins for the Pathogen portal (The Bioinformatics Resource Centers portal) and PATRIC (PAThosystems Resource Integration Center).
