CpG oligodeoxynucleotides (CpG ODNs) are synthetic DNA molecules characterized by short, single-stranded structures containing unmethylated CpG motifs derived from bacterial DNA. These ODNs have the capacity to directly activate B-lymphocytes, dendritic cells, and NK cells, leading to heightened innate immunity and antibody-dependent cell cytotoxicity (ADCC).
