Dermal Papilla cells are located on the uppermost layer of the dermis. Regulating the exchange of the oxygen, nutrients, and waste products between two epidermal layers is the main function of dermal papilla cells. Human follicle dermal papilla cells are isolated from the hair papilla of normal human scalp hair follicles which control the interaction of hair production and hair growth cycle.
