Creative Biogene has established a vast array of reporter systems, such as bioluminescence with bacterial lux genes (lux, luxCDABE operon of Photorhabdus luminescens), firefly and click beetle luciferase (luc), and fluorescence recorded in the case of GFP, RFP, etc. An inherent advantage of the lux operon from Photorhabdus luminescens is the ability to produce a bioluminescent signal and hence, it does not require co-injection of substrates such as is the case with other luciferases.

Species:
human, mouse, rat, fruitfly, nematode, zebrafish, thale-cress, frog, pig
